This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Changing the default session timeout

Hey everyone,

i found a way to configure the default session lifetime (see linked article).

But id like to set this to another value for certain users only.

How can i do that?

The use case is:

Our client is using JIRA from a workstation where multiple users work, to enforce that each user uses his personal account they should be logged out faster than all the other users.

This is a server setting, not a user one - you'd need to change code within Tomcat to change it.

Ah okay. Default-Lifetime sounds like it can be set on another level, but that doesnt seem to be the case then. Thanks
