The JIRA Default Text Renderer converts everything that looks like a JIRA issue key (like KEY-1234) into a JIRA link to that issue. As shit happens we have a custom field in JIRA that contains an external test case ID which looks very similar to a JIRA issue ID, but is not.
It is very confusing to the users that this ID looks and works like a link but points to completly wrong thing.
One possible solution is to change the renderer of that field to the wiki markup renderer and quote the ID like (KEY\-1234). Are there other possible solutions. Is there something like a "Simple Text Renderer" that does not have the auto link feature.
