New Issue View, create table in comments

I haven't found a way to create a table in an issue comment, using the New Issue View.

So I had to switch back to the old view, and create the table with markup.

Is it possible to create tables in the New Issue View?

There's acutally a bug related to the new jira issue view: Tables won't be rendered in the comments nor in the description if edited through the new issue detail view

While we'd love to say this will be fixed soon, we're unable to give an estimate for fix just yet. We will be following up with our bug fix team on your behalf for this issue, as they will need to continue to assess the impact and prioritize the issue against our current backlog.

If you want to be updated on the progress, please feel free to add yourself as a watcher to the bug report.

As a workaround, you can temporarily switch to old interface on the jira issue view in the meantime.
