Merging fields on a Atlassian hosted JIRA instance?

motherg January 6, 2016

I think I already know the answer to this but I want to check for sure.

Is there a way of merging the contents of various custom fields in an OnDemand instance of JIRA? Is it something you can pay Atlassian to do for you if you can't do it yourself?

I think it's a "no"on all accounts but I want to be absolutely sure before I tell the people who are asking.

Hey mother-goose, I believe this is can be achieved by using JIRA Misc Workflow:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.innovalog.jmwe.jira-misc-workflow-extensions/cloud/overview#cloud

Or as stated on link below, through JIRA CLI

I hope that helps!

Thanks Rodrigo - I'll take a look and get back to you with my findings.

I think the JCLI option looks as if it should solve my problem. As I have no experience of this I do have a question - do you know if this method allows you to merge more than one field at a time?
