Is it possible to configure Jira such that the last option that I selected for a custom field is 'remembered' the next time I see that custom field?

Within my JIRA instance, we have a variety of custom fields. Is it possible to configure my instance such that whenever I come across a custom field, JIRA 'remembers' my last selection and auto-selects my last selection for me?

Currently, no, that's no an option. Chrome 50+ is pretty aggressive with its remembered values for text fields like Summary, but that doesn't apply to checkboxes, radio buttons and the like.

There are a few similar feature suggestions on the Atlassian JIRA, but I doubt any of them will be implemented in the foreseeable future.
