How to create some common tasks with appropriate lable for multiple Agile Boards?

Olena Grygorchuk January 27, 2016

Please suggest any solution in the following situation: Two Scrum teams are working for the common product, so that we have some cross platforming tasks that could be applied for both Teams. How to create the label, that allows appear to the task in all Backlogs/Boards?

Thanks is advance!

Sounds like you like "template issues" that can be reused over and over again. if you like to "reuse" JIRA issues, your only choice is to "clone" them. There is an add-on called "Issue Templates for JIRA", check it out.

It doesn't work like that.

Your boards (backlogs are part of scrum boards) are all built on filters.  For an issue to appear on the board, it must match the filter for that board.

You need to change the board filters so that they can draw in the issues you need.

As for identifying the issues, labels is one way to do it and probably a good one.  If you go that way, then you would add something like "or label = crossplatform" to the board filters.
