How to automatically move Status to overdue ?

Hy i have a workflow with a status overdue. Now i want JIRA to automatically move my status to overdue , once the due date is overgone ...otherwise thats stupid to use.. I that somehow possible ?

There are several ways to accomplish, it's not a native JIRA feature. You can check the ScriptRunner Escalation Service ( which is easy to configure. You can also create your own cron script which can do the same thing if you don't like this option.

Typically you'd have a Dashboard Gadget that detailed overdue issues on a chart or a Filter Subscription that emailed users when issues were overdue.

ok but this e mail will not be fired automatically by the system , but i need to create Filter and send them resulsts of filter

It will be sent by an interval/time you configured it to be.
