How do I change the project lead?

I would like to change the project lead to avoid the current Lead to get further notifications regarding that specific project.

Hi Frederico, 

go to the users & roles section within the project admin area

e.g https://jira.yourcomapny.com/plugins/servlet/project-config/PROJECTKEY/roles

at the upper right part you will find the "edit defaults" links. Within the popup window you will than see, you can change the project lead
