I’m already upgrade jira version 7.2.1 in Test server
Yest It's can start service for use.
1 . found 3 add-on incompatible in this version.
2. next step ( edit SSL configure support with https protocal for my company )
edit file /usr/atlassian/jira/conf/server.xml
and restart service.
( I'm use this configure every time after upgrade)
but in this time. It's not work.
It's show error message.
I'm try to resolve this problem by this solution
delete all plug-in cache
- Add value “-Datlassian.plugins.enable.wait=300” in setenv.sh of java environment.
- Increase value of “JVM_MAXIMUM_MEMORY="4096m" in setenv.sh java environment.
- Delete .lock file
- Delete jira-software-application.properties
** But. Solution not resolve problem in first start service.
I’ll stop service jira again and delete /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/.jira-home.lock file again.
And start jira service again. ( restart service 2 time. )
Please fix this bug of this version.
I'm already post 'bug' in step 2.
I' can't start service of JIRA. It's show error message " JIRA Startup Failed"
Now, I'm copy my catalina log from my server for you.
I can't see any bug in there, just a set of plugins that aren't loading. I would try
Does that fail too?
That mean all add-on in list
not support JIRA this version.?
Only solution is: Wait for Atlassian staff upgrade all add-on for this version. yes/no ?
No, the list you've got is just stuff that has not started, which can happen for various reasons.
What I'm asking you to do is remove all the add-ons you have installed on it, so that we can see that the main system starts ok (or not)
I have multiple projects that use variations of the same base workflow. The variations depend on the requirements of the project or issue type. The variations mostly come in the form of new statuses ...
