cannot re-index after Jira Core upgrade from 7.13 to 8.5

After Jira Core upgrade from 7.13 to 8.5, get the following error when trying to re-index

I can see two similar questions in the community with the same message,

This worked -- just run from command-line and then re-indexing works!


./start-jira.sh --disable-all-addons
