Upgrade assets to Insight

Hello

We are testing Insight for the management of a CMDB, but we already have a fixed asset management system, the idea is that from this system the Insight is automatically updated in a single direction, we do not want this update to be by importing files, nor for the Discovery.
It could be that only the first time it is uploaded by file import, but already for use, this must be updated by this integration.
Is this possible? What?
If this is possible, does it work in the Cloud and Datacenter version?

For Server and Data Center there is a REST API.  You could set up the appropriate actions from your fixed asset management system to update Insight that way.
