Would it be possible to not display the "Users and Roles" link for certain users?

Dear Community,

we have the need to restrict the access to the "Users and Roles" link for some projects, We are using Jira Core and within JIRA Core each member of a project can see this link and click on it.

We would like to restrict that to certain defined user roles, meaning not all users of one project should be able to click on the link and see who else is having access to this project.

Is there a way to do this?

i want to know if you have resoluted your problem, i have the same preoccupation. The suggestion of Lucas Silva refered at un plug in who not received good comments. 

I have Script Runner, but i'm not a programmer.

You can do it using JIRA field security plugin

You will have to do some dev work for this. i.e. develop a new custom field type.

A workaround might be to allow the custom field on Create screen but not on Edit screen. Editing should only be allowed via workflow transition and you can add any condition there!
