Please provide a value for required field 'myCustomField'

myCustomField is a bundled field from plugin Extnesion for Jira Service Desk.

I have use the request form for a few months.

Suddenly, today when I try to create a request, and it prompt Please provide a value for required field 'myCustomField'.

I doubt that I have input value in bundled field and system cannot detect the value.

Then I go to my servicedesk project > Request types > 'myRequest' > Edit fields
I find that myCustomField Required is Yes and show "This field is required by the linked issue type".

However, I don't know this very well,  could I know how to Change that from Yes to No?

Check your field configuration and set this to no. Potentially an admin could have changed this because a new project that uses the same field requires it in their process.

Let me know if it helps.

I cannot set it to No since it is dimmed.

I change the field from "Required" to "Optional" in Issue > Field>Field Configuration

then I can set it to "No" in edit fields.

Many thanks
