Only Subtasks in a Project

Hello,

I want to close a project, so I took away the permission to create new tasks. The problem is our users have to finish the existing tasks (also create new subtasks).

Is it possible to create subtasks but no normal tasks?

Thanks

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

No, the permission is flat - you can either create issues in the project, or you can not.  It does not look at the issue type.

Hello,

A sub-task has to be a child of another parent issue, so if you have blocked the ability to create anything besides a subtask, they wont be able to create them.

Hello,

yes, but I already have existing parent issues, I only want no new ones.

I want to create a subtask in the existing issues.

Not possible. It's all or nothing with that permission.
