Hello Support,
I have encountered the below error when trying to use IMAP for incoming email. There is no issue with my email server as I am able to connect to it using a 3rd party mail client. According to my finding from the forum, I suspect it is related to using plain text authentication. However, I am using a docker version of Jira and require some help on enabling plain text authentication.
Thanks
Kelvin

Unfortunately no connection was possible. Review the errors below and rectify:
Are you specifying any port @Kelvin Yuen ?
Hi @Gustavo Félix , Yes I did. In fact I tried both specifying and not specifying any port number; neither of them work.

I had that problem like a year ago. Checking my notes, I followed this
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-server-unable-to-retrieve-messages-from-imap-server-with-no-login-methods-supported-error-224396377.html
I hope that helps you.
