Migrating from Jira

Hello:

My project is being tasked to move all of our contents in Jira over to ServiceNow. My questions is: Are we able to migrate all the attachments that may be in Jira over to ServiceNow as well?

Download a full backup, that will have all your files in it.

For loading it into ServiceNow, I'd recommend asking in a ServiceNow forum.

When I download the full backup, would you suggest zipping the backup? What tools would be necessary?

I'd zip it up if you need to transfer it via a network, just because compressed data can be transferred faster. (Consider sending a 100Mb file over a network against how fast a 1Mb file can go). The tools you need are "any compression tool" - there are hundreds out there supporting almost all formats.
