Is there a way to aggregate "Quick Filters" into drop-downs by category?

I am using JIRA v7.6.9, and setting up a new Kanban board. We work across multiple efforts in multiple roles, so I'd like to be able to set up Quick Filters and...

(a)  Organize the Quick Filters as drop-downs so they don't extend beyond the frame and require users to use "...Show more" to get a somewhat untidy display of all the filters.

(b)  Organize the Quick Filters by category (e.g., effort, assignee, etc.) to make it easier to find a desired filter (yes, I anticipate many filters because, at this time, using multiple Kanban boards seems more onerous)

Unfortunately, there is no functionality that I know of to categorise quick filters or display them as a drop down list within Jira Server, though Jira Cloud's new UI displays quick filters within a drop down list. My suggestion would be to vote on this feature request.
