Error when trying to delete a sprint

I am the admin of a project and have the Manage Sprints permission assigned to my user login. When trying to complete a sprint, we first get a message box saying 14 issues were done and then a message box saying "Error bad request: request method denied".
I ave tried logging off and back on, I have elevated to temporary system admin access but this did not make a difference. All tasks are showing in the right most column labelled done. I thought I would try to just remove all items from the sprint but when trying to do so I get the same error and cannot remove items from the sprint.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue ?
