Creating GitHub issues from Jira tickets

I'm using Jira to manage my Product backlog, and the dev team work in GitHub. I'd like to be able to push tickets from Jira to GitHub (not the other way around) but I can't see any integration that will let me do that -- can anyone give me some pointers?

Just to be clear, I want to capture requirements in Jira as (epics and) stories, then when ready, push those stories to GitHub where they will appear as new issues ready to go on a project board. I then want my Jira stories to be updated as the issues progress in GitHub. What I don't want is to create things in GitHub then have them pushed back to Jira as that will just create pointless work.
