How can I bulk move status to closed, earlier I used to have it but the button is gone all of a sudden.

@Sourish Ghosh  You need to contact your JIRA amin  to check the permission, in  the global permission setting

  • Ensure  that the user group you are part of has the "Bulk Change" permission - if not, activate it and try to move the issues again

Hi  @Sourish Ghosh ! 

You can create a special fast-track transition from all statuses to destination for workflow and lock for you. 

Then you can double check in your scope do you have rights to close it. 

 

OR 

you can check in your scope of ticket do you have rights, does those ticket can go directly to Closed status?
