Block Time Logging in the Past

Hi,

im looking for a solution to block logging time in the past.

----

Example:

Today = 20.12.2019

It should be not possible to log time before 01.12.2019

It would be nice to let an error message / warning pop up.

----

Within the "Log Work" Screen.

Even with Scriptrunner (Behaviours) Im not able to access the "Date Started" Field.

Im curious if this is even possible to realize?

Actually this sounds like a simple usecase, but hard to realize - atleast for me. :)

Thanks for your hints / tips.

Hi @Chris

This is not something I've come across - but I have seen an answer which might be of interest.

Alternatives would be to look for a different time-tracking tool (like Tempo) - or you could limit time-logging in a different method - such as restricting editing on closed issues (which can be done through status properties on a workflow).
