Which documentation should be used to Administer JIRA Cloud ?
The JIRA User's Guide ?:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/jira-user-s-guide-720416011.html
The Cloud documentation (JIRA Software Cloud) ?:
The Cloud documentation seems not to cover everything in-detail...
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/jira-software-documentation-764477791.html
The JIRA 7 documentation ?:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver073/jira-software-documentation-861254166.html
Or do we have to use all three and figure out what applies and does not apply to JIRA Cloud ?
Hi HJLBX - My first stop for docs about administering JIRA Cloud is usually the general JIRA cloud-specific documentation for admins here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/administering-jira-cloud-applications-884344454.html
There's a bit more information in there than the JIRA Software docs you linked.
The JIRA 6.4 user guide and JIRA 7 documentation you linked to both relate to JIRA Server, so (as you say) the information in there does not apply to JIRA Cloud. Sometimes stuff in there is useful where there is cross-over, so I use with caution.
Your question title mentions ScriptRunner, but you don't mention anything about it in the question details. Are you looking for ScriptRunner-related docs? If so you want: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/index.html
There is currently a problem with the Community board. The original title as I posted it was something like "Which Documentation is Correct for JIRA Cloud ?"
Thanks Sam.
At the moment just looking for the correct JIRA Cloud documentation. I appreciate your reply.

Also, when someone replies to one of my posts, I receive 3 separate Atlassian Community post reply notification emails.
Something is screwy with the board.

The extra nofification emails were due to me editing my answer a couple of times to correct my spelling and phrasing.
Sorry for spamming you a bit!
I'm not sure the notification emails make clear they are due to edits, though.
Atlassian are aware and aparently have a bug raised. It's discussed in this thread if you want to comment: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Feedback-Forum-discussions/Email-Notification-Pain-Points/td-p/458731

On the thread title problem - I'll raise the issue with Atlassian and see if they can investigate.
