Can we have a progress bar (0-100%) maintained on each individual issue?

Like in the previous issue tracker we used (Redmine) we would very much like to be able to have progress bar per issue.

Many of the issues we work on a long-lasting and it is therefore very informative for our 1st line support to be able to check the progress more exactly per issue.

The time tracking feature does provide a progress bar (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Logging+Work+on+an+Issue). Other than that, you're looking at creating your own custom field.

If you dont need an actually progress bar, just create a select list custom field and put in 0-100% as the options of that custom field

Hi Timothy, the feature you have suggested is not what Roy asked for I believe, because he doesn't want to log time but only the progress.

There is a more recent discussion about this topic, I would like to advise all interested people to give a look at this
