Name change not updating

Hello,

I changed my name in my profile but it is not reflected here. (Like two weeks ago)

The account was ordered by my coworker and her name should not be public (search engines) for something I wrote.

Thank you for your help

Have you tried updating your name via https://id.atlassian.com?

Yes, there is no name field in the profile on this site anyway.

@Kalado you have to log all the way out of all your Atlassian accounts and then back in for the name change to take effect. Can you try that?

I've had the same issue. Updated my name like a month ago. Is it only not updated locally until you sign out of all the instances of Atlassian, or on the portal as well?

@maxi we just released an update allowing you to choose a different private or public name. You'll have to update the new field, then log out and back in. It's pretty easy (compared to the old process anyway). Check out the instructions here
