Can someone who is familiar with the whole SEO thing please tell me how search engines pick up keywords on a COnfluence page? Do they read words define in the excerpt macro?

Hi @mdmusaruf hossain ,

 

Confluence is not very optimized for SEO and content therein isn't very discoverable by Google. There are solutions to help mitigate this, which you can find in this thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Confluence-Public-cloud-works-with-Google-SEO/qaq-p/1742054
