While I understand the cost associated with compute, moving from the "Unlimitted Automation rules per project" to a +1 for each automation rule toward the global count of a very limitted 1700 for the Standard subscriptions.
Interestingly adopting a limit-count-per-project would have made a much sensible approach to administrators of Atlassian as now, we are faced with risks of a single high-volum project that may impact the totallity of all the other projects relying on small but important automations.
It's interesting that Atlassian have the time and resources to delete this spammy comment posted today - but the Atlassian product team has ghosted this who discussion for a year. Make your own assessment...
@Andrew B , it looks like that comment has a link to an external website. The Community has automation spam detection that will often catch this and remove. Given the rest of the content in the message and comparing to other posts, I expect that is what happened here.
