The champagne has been popped, the ball has dropped, and we’re officially in a new year. Congratulations! 2021 was a tough one for many, but you made it. You launched, supported, strategized, and troubleshot your way into 2022.
We think it’s going to be a pretty good year.
And to kick off that good year, this January is Migrations Month in the Atlassian Community. Which means we’ll be celebrating, supporting, and providing even more resources for those who want to migrate from Server to Atlassian Cloud. Plus, there will be more opportunities to win a cloudie! (And if you haven’t already explored all of the migration resources we launched last year, now’s a great time to take a peek.)
Starting in February, there’ll be no new feature development in our Server products and you won’t be able to upgrade or downgrade your user tier. So if you’ve been thinking about Atlassian Cloud, now’s the time to start the conversation and connect with others who’ve been where you are. Once you’re ready to make the leap, you can start saving money and time on Cloud (since 83% of those who move to Cloud say it saves their admins time). And once you've had a chance to dive into some Migrations Month content or join an event - don't forget to share your takeaways and learnings in this discussion thread.
So, what’s coming up during Migrations Month? The short answer is: a lot of resources, a badge, and some swag. Here’s what you should be looking out for:
This month we’ll also be publishing more resources to help you migrate. Watch out for:

We thought you’d never ask! Any great feat - like an Atlassian Cloud migration - deserves a mascot. So meet ours! We’ll be giving away cloudies all month long as part of our Migrations Month celebrations. |
Join us for events, swag, and some cloud-focused camaraderie. And in the spirit of the new year, let’s get the conversation started!
What are your goals - either personal or professional - this year?
I'll start! This year, I'm hoping to improve my morning routine (and give up that snooze button) and to continue to learn more from our Marketing Analytics partners! What about you?
And don't forget, once you've had a chance to join in, share your Migration Month takeaways with other members of Community in this discussion.
