March has been a busy month for the Atlassian Analytics team! In case you missed any of our announcements, here’s your monthly recap of everything we’ve released and what’s to come.
Chart templates - Getting answers to your data questions just got a lot faster! You can now create a chart from a template, which you can then customize to further meet your needs. Check out our post to learn more about chart templates.
Single chart embedding with Smart Links - Embed individual charts from your Atlassian Analytics dashboards across the Atlassian suite via Smart Links. This extends the functionality we released at the end of 2022 that allows you to embed dashboards. All you have to do is copy and paste the link to a chart in a Confluence page, Jira issue, or Atlas update and select Embed as the display option. Check out our post to learn more about embedding single charts with Smart Links.
Series of video tutorials - Learn all the basics of Atlassian Analytics by watching our demo videos! You’ll be an expert before you know it. 🤩 Watch the videos in our YouTube playlist.
Removal of Jira issue fields related to parent issues - We’re in the process of removing the “Subtask” and “Epic Link” Jira issue fields from the Data Lake. Learn more about the rollout for the removal of these fields.
Improvements to Opsgenie data - We’re making the data in some Opsgenie columns easier to read and use for building charts. Learn more about which Opsgenie columns are affected.
Removal of the two tables for Jira Software - Due to data inconsistencies, we’ve decided to temporarily remove the “Issue estimate history” and “Issue sprint history” tables. Learn more about the removal of these tables.
New product collection in Community - We’re moving our existing Community content to a new product collection within the next week. We’ll post all product announcements and updates there going forward, so watch for our announcement to join the new collection when it’s ready.
Changes to who can create charts and dashboards - As part of our ongoing effort to prepare for GA, we’re going to require that users must have access to at least one product with an Enterprise plan to create charts and dashboards in Atlassian Analytics. Learn more about these changes.
Confluence data - The team is working hard to resolve some data issues so we can make Confluence data available in Atlassian Analytics. We know many of you are eager to query your Confluence data, but we appreciate your patience as we try to make sure the data is ready for everyone.
