New Feature: Create new charts from a template

We're excited to announce the easiest way yet to get started with Atlassian Analytics. Recently we launched the ability to create dashboards from a provided template, and today we're launching the ability to create single charts from a template! This feature gives you an easy way to add a new chart to a new or existing dashboard, including any necessary controls for filtering.

How to get started

First, find a chart you’d like to create. You can filter by product or search for specific keywords:

Next, select:

• the Atlassian data source that will populate the chart’s data

• the dashboard that you’ll place the chart on

Lastly, configure any necessary filters by either using existing controls or creating new controls to place on the dashboard:

Once these charts are placed on a dashboard, they can be fully edited or modified just like any other custom chart!

Hi,
This is really great! I've recently started working with Analytics and this is definitely helpful for us newbies. The one thing I'm missing is charts around Story Points, rather than Issue Counts, as that is much more useful for us. So a Dashboard aimed at reporting on Velocity or even a chart template for this would be awesome (hint hint) :) .
