We use SAGE CRM, the mobile app currently lacks functionality as per our requirements. Does Jira support an integration between the two platforms? We would like Push notifications delivered on our Jira mobile apps for SAGE CRM activities, specially new leads and cases as they come in.

There's no official Atlassian-provided integration with Sage CRM. There also don't appear to be any apps in our marketplace that provide integration with Sage (despite a few that specifically support multiple CRMs).
What you'd probably want to do in this case is see if you can get Sage to send Jira Service Desk an email when a new lead or case is created. Sage and Jira Service Desk both have REST APIs, so it would also be possible for a developer to write a small application that integrates the two of them.
If you create a new issue in Jira Service Desk for all the activities you want to send push notifications on, you can use Service Desk to assign issues (from the Sage emails or from a Sage integration that you'd have to develop) and trigger push notifications.
To be clear on what Jira's mobile app does... It can definitely do push notifications when Jira issues are assigned to someone. The trick is just getting those issues in to Jira from Sage :)

We use Starfish and it works really well. We push data from Sage CRM to JIRA and back again. Once you purchase the product, they do a really good job of helping you get set up.
