Is it possible to copy the due date from one card to another?

My scenarios is that I use a master card to organize individual projects. At the time of the card's creation it is given a specific start date and due date; these dates are highly variable and so I can't build any logic to dynamically set them.

During the project's progress it will enter various states (MVP, change request(s), escalation, etc) and I use card buttons to create new card to track the work that occurs during these separate states and to add them to the parent card as attachments. What I want is for each of the child-cards to inherit the parent card's due date when the specific child-card is created. Is this possible in Butler? Is this possible elsewhere?

I saw this post from 2021 but hoped something had changed since then to make the feature more accessible.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Chris. We still have the same limitations on Automation.

I've found this thread that should be helpful: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Butler-Copy-due-date-when-set-to-linked-card/qaq-p/1887305
