Two ways how to move a card (see below):

• right click a card, without opening it
• choose to move form the card back, when the card is open

Please bring back the left side boards bar, it's much slower and longer to click into the new navigation bar each time and also having them all up on the left keeps them in my mind's eye as i am thinking across projects. This update does not better the product! Please make it an option again for better useability!

I’m aware of those 2 options, but the changes make the workflow of “edit a card and then move it to the right place” more cumbersome. I don't want to have to dig in the … menu to Move the card. 

Labels and Members are first class citizens and get their own button at the top of the card.
Personally I think card location is equally important and should also have its own button too - there is space.

Are the card check-list fonts bigger for anyone else? When I adjust the size, it is either too big or too small - I wonder if it's possible to go back to the old font size on the cards. As it is, the font is either too small to really read well or too big to see the whole card.

How can I keep visible and pinned the right-side menu bar? In the previous version, if the menu bar was open, I could see the activities continuously, but in the new version, the menu bar closes when I open a card, for example. So I have to open it again and again every time, which is very annoying because I want to see the activities continuously.

Im honestly not enjoying the new layout its very frustrating not seeing my boards on the left side, it affects my work because i have so many boards i miss some of the stuff im suppose to do because i dont see all my boards. i would like this changed back, i wish we can have the ability to use it new or keep the OG way. I do not need a planner, the whole thing about trello was you create tasks and mention people and trello itself is basically a planner, why would you even add that? Also the cards changed it was way easier adding stuff into the card now its all condensed? Now you guys just made it confusing. This is very frustrating i had a system going.

I really dont get that you see MANY people complain about the new look and how hard it is to use and we ALL love how it was easy to navigate around and now and trello just doesnt care? Shouldnt you listen to you community the ones who have been using trello for 5+ years? It makes everyone want to jump off and find a new system to use.

Hi - I think it would be useful if the Trello team could communicate a bit more clearly what the pain points were which this radical redesign was seeking to address, and what the evidence was for the significance of these relative to the value of the design which had organically evolved.

Maybe the community can suggest more incremental changes to the old design that would retain the familiarity and efficiency of that design, while still addressing whatever these pain points were...

In the latest version of the card back, the expected behavior is that the right-side menu bar ('comments & activity' panel) should remain open between cards and will only close if you manually close it. If the panel is closing automatically each time you open a card, that’s not the intended experience.

To help us investigate this further, could you please raise a ticket with our support team? They’ll be able to look into your specific situation more closely and help resolve the issue.

@Alex sorry for being confusing. I meant the menu bar on the right side of the entire board, where I could monitor all the activities happening on the board in the Activities menu. This menu bar now closes if I click anywhere on the board. In the previous version, it remained open all the time. I need to constantly see the activities of all the cards on my board, so it's very annoying that now I have to open the menu bar on the right side of the board again every minute and click on Activities there.

This is a terrible UI change for me. In the cards that I write allot I use the Comments option. This is where I write the many and lengthy text. Now 90% of my text is crammed up in the narrow space on the side and 10% gets most of the screen. Its very annoying. It was designed in a specific way and I used it based on the previous design. Now it becomes almost unusable for me. 

Please, forward this request to the Head of Product: 

Dear sir, I am involved with product building in various tech companies. I know you mean well and I know from my own experience that we usually think we know better than the users. But sometimes we take a wrong turn. Now the bigger thing to do is to swallow our selfish pride and admit we didnt see this one as it turned out and either roll back or at least give your users the option to choose to roll back to the previous UI. I understand the technological challenges this presents but the alternative is to piss off too many users and loose many of them. 

Please see the feedback you are getting here and fix this issue.

Please tell me how to disable the BETA version? I don't have a BETA button on the toolbar and I can't find such an option in the menu? I want to disable BETA but I can't...

I don't like this version because it doesn't display a list of all boards in the side menu and it makes my work very difficult.

I'm really disappointed by the new card back design. I understand the goal is to make it more streamlined, but I preferred the larger view were I could see more content at once. Slimming the card doesn't give any advantage to my workflow. Even if we were able to choose our card configuration, that'd be a huge improvement.
