I have the jira plugin installed in excel, I have used it in some networks (wifi), but when changing to another network I cannot use it, it does not load. I guess I need to ask for firewall permissions. Can you tell me which urls you should have access to in order to use the plugin?

Hi Jose,

The Jira add-on for excel can allow excel to contact your Jira Cloud site directly to gather issue data.  Please see IP addresses and domains for Atlassian cloud products, this guide explains the domains and IP address ranges that our Atlassian Cloud sites can potentially use to host that data.  If your network has some kind of access control lists to restrict outbound connections to any of these ranges or domain names, then that could explain the behavior you have described here.

As for ports, I would only expect the use of port 443 (SSL/TLS) for establishing a secure web connection to be used, but you might also need to open port 80 (both outbound) for standard HTTP traffic.

I hope that helps.

Andy
