why jira run with two different port number

Hello team 

I changed my server.xml file , as shown bellow .

1: i changed the port number from 8080 to 8100 .

The new port number work fine when i access jira , but the old port number still also work , and as im new in jira , it look weird for me . Two port number !! why ?

I need explication please .
