why does jira do this kind of calculation in the remaining estimate?

I don't know what we are doing wrong when recording the hours.

I am seeing that it makes a bad calculation.

that is interesting. I saw another post yesterday related to logging time and an odd format. I wonder if there has been a regression/bug introduced recently. I would report this to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
