why can't i drag drop story in portfolio board?

why can't i drag drop story in portfolio board?

i am trying the JIRA portfolio, but the drag and drop doesn't work for me. I can't change story's priority. (people just drag the epic and move to top in the demo video). And it seems like the auto calculation and planning of those releases are based on the ranking of epics/stories.

Rearranging issues in the scope table is possible and determines the priority that issues will be scheduled in your roadmap.

To do this make sure you are sorting your scope table by the rank column (#). When sorting by rank a handlebar will be visible on the left of each issue.
This will allow to drag and drop to change priority.
