while importing,any setting to skip mapping field everytime?

hello,

i am facing two problems

1.when i import tc to jira everytime it shows always to map the field i want to skip this step as i have same type of format always to import

2.in precondition i dont have option to import the tc,and when i add through test it shows error ,I can't add steps on preconditions

can any one help?

Hello @Kritika Kaushik ,

There is an option to save the configuration on the final import page that can be seen when you start the import and will be available after completion until you close the window. viewable here:

This will download a file in the format "CSV-configuration-YYYYMMDDHHmm.txt" taht can then be uploaded the next time you start an import by selecting the "Use an existing configuration file" check box as shown here:

This will pre-populate all the field mappings for you and you will be all set, and still maintain the preview in case additional fields need to be mapped for a new configuration.
