while creating the issue, if customfield is empty dynamically email should send to POC -Product man

Hi team,

While creating the ticket, if custom field is empty dynamically email should send to POC - Product manager.

-> we can send email notification to group/ assignee/reporter. but client required in different way for   project to project & feature POC develop manger will change.

is there any script or any rule to create, please let me know.

if there is any documentation pls.share.

Hi @Ashok and welcome to the community,

If you have different POC Manager in different projects, then instead of sending emails to groups/reporter etc, just change it to send to POC Manager role. This means that on every project you have to grant the POC manager role membership to the corresponding people (who will be different on every project).

So you will have one PF (or Jira Automation) which will send email only to that project role. And if you (or the client, or the project admin) grants the proper roles to the POC manager, then they will receive the email.

@Ashok I don't quite get then what you mean.. and your answer doesn't help me to provide you with a suitable solution. Please describe the current stage (how your solution works) and the business requirements.
