Unfortunately, there is nothing on the Cloud public roadmap currently (but it is worth watching that for any upcoming features).
There is also a feature request to provide support for epic from team managed projects in Advanced Roadmaps that is currently in progress and that you can track here: JSWCLOUD-20012. However, the ticket clearly mentions there's a lot of additional issues to be addressed before team managed projects can integrate well within the tool.
Apart from that: working across different teams and projects is a clear case to chose company managed projects, as they use a shared configuration. They are harder to learn from an admin perspective, but better suited for the job.
