Hello @colette collins ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

To move multiple Epics and their related Stories from one Jira project to another, there are several key factors you need to keep in mind. You can refer to them here:

1. Firstly, make sure

  • You have Global Bulk Change permissions in Jira. You can validate the same by navigating to your site -> Settings -> System -> Global permission

  • You must have Edit Work Items and Move Work Items permissions on both the source and destination projects.

2. Then you can go to Advance Issue search, write your custom JQL to fetch all your epics and its stories, run the query, then click on three dots, bulk change work items and move your items to new project. More details in this document

Thank you!

Hi @colette collins

Welcome to the community!

You could write a custom JQL that has all your items that you want to move and the JQL results screen has a bulk action link.

Hope this helps.
