trying to find documentation on tomcat versions in 8.0 and above

Does anyone know what version of tomcat is embedded with JIra software 8.12 install?

Hi William,

while not communicated directly you can always view release notes and search if a tomcat upgrade was introduced for a speicific release.

On release page for version 8.12 for example you can find that with version 8.12.2 Tomcat was updated to version 8.5.57.
