can we switch jira db from mysql 5.6 to postgresql 9.2/9.3. using the jira xml backup.

will jira populate the tables in postgresql from a mysql xml backup automatically or should we manually change the db structures for switching db from mysql 5.6 to postgresql 9.2/9.3.

Hello @venkatraj v.p.

this article explains in detail how to proceed when switching databases.

There is no problem moving from MySQL to PostgreSQL 9.2/9.3, you will be able to do so with the xml backup, no need to touch the db structure.

Let me know if you have any issues,
