submit button disappears

I'm a student using JIRA to finish an assignment. in this project I'm the systems administrator. However, when I try to create a new project, the submit button disappears as soon as I type the first letter of the project name. What am I doing wrong?

When I type enough letters in, the submit button doesn't come back

It's too short, and hence, invalid - you need to fill in more to get it to reappear.
