stop jira from expanding ticket information in formatted text

Sometimes we use ticket names in file names (db migration related to a ticket, etc).

It is not possible to use these filenames in comments anymore as they get expanded into ticket status and description by Jira.

For example let's say there is TICKET-1, and i have a file called TICKET-1_add-new-column.sql

When i write a comment like

"See file {{scripts/TICKET-1_add-new-column.sql}} ..."

it gets expanded into:

"See file {{scripts/

TICKET-1 - add new column bla bla COMPLETE

_add-new-column.sql}}

I remember there were suggestions to make this feature configurable (on/off) in JIRA Cloud. Try asking Atlassian Support.
