sprint closing

Varun May 22, 2019

When i close the current sprint and open the new sprint ,  all the tasks gets carry forward to the new sprint,  while only open issues should get carry forward .... What is the point of the tickets which are done and closed moving into the next sprint ?

Currently the issues which are closed and done are also moving into the new sprint along with the incomplete tasks. guide me as to what should i do to prevent this kind of issues

Hello,

Issues are considered to be done only if they are in the most right column in your board, when you are closing a sprint. It means that the tickets, which go to the next sprint, were not in the most right column.

thank you for your reply , but what about the tickets that i have closed in the current sprint ? even closed tickets  are moving to the new sprint.

Are they in the right-hand column of the sprint board when you close the old sprint?  If they have sub-tasks, are those all in the right-hand column as well?

Sorry for the delay, I lost track.  I think we need to look at the full history of an issue that moved to a new sprint when the old sprint ended.
