set resolution fields in Sub-tasks from unresolved to resolved

I want to hide the subtasks generated by issue parents from the issue list board

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Resolutions are set through a workflow transition. You either can set it per post-function or per a transition screen. When using a screen the user can select among several resolutions for an issue.

In case the sub-tasks should be transitioned to resolved/closed and get a resolution by automation you could do that in case you have some App in place allowing this (f.e. Automation).

There are some more options but this is hard to say from your requirement. If you just want them to exclude from a dashboard/board this can be done without resolving them first but adjusting the filter.
