restrict users from only editing issues they create and or assign themselves too?

Hi Team,

I have a couple of questions.

Is there anyway to restrict users from only editing issues they create and or assign themselves too?

case 1: User creates story (can edit afterwards)

case 2 : User A creates story (User B assigns themselves and can now edit).

Please advise me.

Use the permission scheme to say "Edit:  Reporter, Assignee" and no-one else.

You'll need to think about how you allow B to assign it to themselves though.

Do you really need to restrict the assignee editing only if they assign it to themselves? That seems a bit odd. If so, you can't do it out of the box. I suspect you'll need to write a script to check it.
