Hello @SA_Jenni Weatherbed ,
Unfortunately, Jira doesn’t provide a recycle bin for boards, so once a board is deleted, it can’t be restored directly from the UI. Whether you can recover it depends entirely on whether you have a backup that contains the board’s configuration.
If you do have a site or project-level backup from before the deletion, you can restore the board from there. Otherwise, it can’t be recovered.
To avoid this in the future, it’s best to have regular backups in place — either using Atlassian’s export/import options or a third-party solution like GitProtect Backup & Disaster Recovery for Jira Cloud.
Regards,
Daria
Once a Jira board is destroyed, it cannot be immediately restored. However, it can be recreated and re-connected to the same filter or project. Examine the board's query or filter, then create a new board using those specifications. Quick fix, and you're back in action! @SA_Jenni Weatherbed If this helps kindly let me knw.
