research tab is not available in issue.

My query is on JIRA issues.

For a particular content change issue in a project the user is unable to find option (to research) to change the status of the issue.

Note:

For other content change issues in the same project "To Research" tab is available to change the status of the issue.

User has all permission to move(switching between the status).

A "research tab" is not part of JIRA off-the-shelf, you'll need to explain what the add-on here is.
