re: jira cloud epic status

how can i configure the statuses that will fall under epic status?

is it still possible to edit them? i can add the field "epic status" in the issue status configuration screen, but i want to know where i can add more epic statuses. thanks!

I am not aware of a way in Jira Cloud to modify the values available for the Epic Status field.

Be advised that it appears Atlassian might eventually deprecate the Epic Status field. Refer to this article:
